Hello ya'all lovely! Recently I've received an email from Luxola to review on Mario Badescu products. And I was like why not? Just in time when I've almost run out my skin care products. (and I got no idea what to buy next. Bet you had those moment too when you finished your skin care products). To be honest, I've never heard of this brand, when I received the mail, I was kind of nervous what if it doesn't do good on me? But after I did some researched, I decided to give it a try since there's lot of good review on it too. And I was glad I did! Without further ado, let me introduced you Mario Badescu! Oh by the way! Mario Badescu was established by a Romanian-born skin care specialist and launched in New York in 1967. The brand works on the vision of it's founder Mario Badescu: Simplicity is the key to healthy, clean, radiant skin. Likewise, the price range was quite affordable as the brand believe that everybody deserves good skin care.

Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner is a gentle exfoliating toner which is perfect for dry and sensitive skin. It gently exfoliates, refreshed and stimulates dry and congested complexions. Glycolic Acid Toner helps to reduce discoloration from old acne scarring whilst diminishing build-up which causes the skin to look tired and dull.

Glycolic acid is part of the group of active compounds known as AHA's (alpha hydroxy acids). Derived from cane sugar:

• It has the smallest molecules in the group so is able to penetrate skin deeply and easily, making it the most effective for treating fine lines, acne, blackheads, dullness, oiliness etc

• Chemical peels use a high percentage of this acid and can be very effective if done safely and properly.

• An even better way to use it is as a daily exfoliator, which can give the same results as heavier peels but much easier and safer (and often gives better results as the consistent application makes them cumulative.

That being said, it does helps to exfoliate dead cells on our skin and gives an added boost in cleansing the skin. And it work instantly which I'm quite surprising. I could see the result after I used for the first time. Though, it gave my skin a little burning tingle but only for first few times. I felt that my face is a whole lot cleaner and it helps to absorb the products I was going to use next. And my face look brighter too.

What I like about it the most was, I felt soft and not greasy at all. Even after I woke up in the morning. (PS: I couldn't stop rubbing my face and wonder cause it really does not greasy at all. I LOVE IT).

But do note that make sure you avoid areas where there is active acne!
